As we all know, certain hospitals presently administer programs whereby friends and relatives of a hospital patient may donate in advance of an anticipated surgery, So that this blood is designated solely for that patient for a limited period of time. Therefore, if the patient does require the need of such blood, the preferred blood is already on supply for him. If the blood is not needed, it would refer back to the bank. I would urge adoption of this Resolution and be happy to answer any questions."
