"Mr. Speaker, Ladies and Gentlemen of the House. House Resolution 125 is a committee Resolution of the rules committee. What it does it amends rules 16 and rule 27 of our permanent rules. It changes rule 16 in that it creates a standing committee on implementation of Chicago School reform with the anticipation that there will be public hearings on the implementation of the reforms and possible legislation regarding the implementation. The change in rule 27 would shorten by one week, the deadline committee deadline and House substantive Bills. What it means therfore...there would be an extra week of Third Reading floor Action as much as we did some years ago. This Bill..this Resolution was unanimous in the committee, on ruled and therefore has the approval of both sides of the aisle, and Mr. Speaker, I move the adoption of House Resolution 125."
