And it just says that any receiver would have to receive within three months after the closing of the grant year could be classified within that grant year. And this is proposed by Chicago public schools and about three or four other districts around the state for bonding purposes. And we would just appreciate a 'yes' vote on this particular Bill. "Basically, it increases their balance sheet, their receivables accounts when they're trying to get bonding. So, ya know, they're able to get advanced bonding on those receivable amounts, instead of those amounts not showing up on there balance sheets."
"Is this a way to circumvent the tax caps that we have in this state?"
"Absolutely not."
"But it gives them a higher base of which to bond to."
"Yes. It... it gives a clearer picture of what's going on within the district."
