That night, Donnie did exactly what he was trained to do by getting a suspect by all force. He went through the door with a sledgehammer and was only approached with several bullets to the head and to the chest. Donnie Marquez was a good man and a… a great father. Alejandro 'Alex' Valadez, Chicago Police Department. Ladies and Gentlemen, I had a chance to meet this young man and I did a Bill named after him. He was a fraternity brother at Western University with my son, who is a Cook County Sheriff.
