All of us know how important staff is. When I came here in 3 STATE OF ILLINOIS 100th GENERAL ASSEMBLY REGULAR SESSION SENATE TRANSCRIPT 2nd Legislative Day 1/12/2017 2012, you know, you don't -- I had no idea where to go in the building, no idea what to do, and today regretfully and sadly is my legislative aide's final day dealing with all of us and tomorrow is her final day in the Capitol. Jayde Johnson has been around this Capitol since she was born. Her mom is Cindy Davidsmeyer. Jayde was almost born on the House Floor -- on the Senate Floor, and her husband, Bryen - actually is up there - he was part of our communications team prior to going over to IFT. She has kept me organized. If you all think I am chaotic now, wait till she's gone - you ain't seen nothin' yet. But I know I'm going to miss her incredibly, incredibly. I can't say enough of what she's done for us, for me, for my family. And I know she knows so many friends here on the Senate Floor, and if we really try hard, maybe we can convince her not to leave. But she is going to go on to huge, great things, and hopefully I'll get her back one day. But -- she's shaking her head. I don't think so. So I want to thank her for her four years of helping me and truly her lifetime of dedication to this Senate. So thank you all and thank you, Jayde.
