Tonight, the Third House is hosting a new Members' reception and all Members are invited, especially those that have been here for less than two terms. The reception's at the State Library, which is located at Monroe and Second, between 5 and 7. Over a hundred and fifty Members will be present. Thank you, Mr. President, Ladies and Gentlemen of the Senate. It's with great pleasure today that I'd like to acknowledge my Page for a Day, Jace Craver. Jace is eleven years old and resides in Marion. He is accompanied by his mother, Heather, which is up in the gallery. Jace plays football, and is also a player on the Southern Illinois Prospects 11 Under baseball team. His favorite subject in school is social studies. He also has a special place in his heart for veterans. The first time I met Jace, we were both attending a Southern Illinois Honors {sic} (Honor) Flight return home last fall. He and his baseball team were front and center to welcome home our nation's finest. It is Jace's dream to one day fly to Washington, D.C., so he can visit Arlington Cemetery and pay his respects to our fallen heroes. Can we please welcome Jace to the Illinois State Senate?
