I would like to introduce the Body to Father Mark Tracy, who did the prayer today. Mark happens to be my baby boy son. And he also -- his father and I were very happy to witness his being sworn in yesterday to the Illinois National Guard as a first lieutenant and chaplain of the Illinois National Guard, and the only Catholic chaplain in the Illinois National Guard active. So, anyway I'm happy he's here. Some of my colleagues had suggested I ask him to come here. He resides in Effingham. First of all, to Father Tracy, your mom left out you used to be our rec league assistant intern, so -- from Mahomet and -- and your former boss, Dan Waldinger, says "love that guy". So we are very proud of everything you've accomplished. Mr. President, I would like to ask, in the gallery above you, the Paris-Crestwood eighth grade Lady Eagles to please rise. Ladies and Gentlemen, this is their second consecutive State title. They are sixth, seventh, and eighth graders. They won this year's title, State title, by defeating Mendon Unity 36 to 31. They finished the 2018 season with a perfect 25 and 0 season, and they are currently on a 49 and 0 win streak. Their Head Coach is Missy Tingley; Assistant Coaches, Dave Tingley and Matt Young. And if we could please congratulate them on a second State title and give them a big round of applause.

The teacher, Kurt Peters, is up in the gallery, as well as five students: Noah Hollenkamp, who participates in cross country and will be attending SIU next year; Ethan Hall, who is also a track/cross country, who will be attending Ranken next year; Alexis Ratermann, who is involved in volleyball and will be attending SIU in the fall; Annabelle Wieter, who is involved in Future Business Leaders of America and, unfortunately, will be attending Mizzou next year; and Vlada Sanduleac, who is an exchange student from Moldova - she is here present today - she's involved in the art club and soccer team, and her coordinator, Jennifer Spaeth, is in the gallery as well. She is eight years old. She attends Longfellow Elementary School. She is a voracious reader, a soccer player and a T-ball player. Her father, Matt, is up in the gallery. But, I'd ask you all to join me in welcoming Jane to the Senate.

School activities are National Honor Society, choir and honors chair, band, scholar bowl, and for the first time for it to be said in public, we believe she's going to be the Valedictorian of her school. So we're very proud of that. But the most interesting thing is, she's a member of the "Walldogs", which I hadn't heard of until just now. But it's an international organization that paints murals to encourage tourism in small communities. So she's just doing a lot to help her small town. And I'd like people to welcome Elana -- Elena to the Senate Floor. Thank you.

The Illinois House seems to think they're better than us at a lot of things. But tonight, Ladies and Gentlemen, is the third annual Senate versus House charity basketball game. We, here in the Senate, need to represent very well. We have twin towers of power with our colleagues Senator Plummer and Senator Curran. However, we here today also are going to invoke Senate privilege by commenting and allowing former Senator Mike Frerichs and former Senator Kwame Raoul to be part of our team as well. So, Ladies and Gentlemen, it is time for the Senate to represent. Representative Sims, I'm hoping -- or Senator Sims, who - wait - who - wait, wait, no, no - who was a Representative, I don't know if his knee is better from when we hurt him in the last game, but he is now on our team so we will not hurt him this time.
