Thank you, Madam President. Today is a sad day. We have a member of the press who is typically here covering Session, Greg 10 STATE OF ILLINOIS 104th GENERAL ASSEMBLY REGULAR SESSION SENATE TRANSCRIPT 7th Legislative Day 1/28/2025 Bishop. He's a very diligent, hardworking reporter. I almost always run into him when I'm around the Capitol when we're in Session. And unfortunately, recently, his wife, Megan Harmon, just passed away. And she worked in the library division of the Secretary of State's office. And so, I would just ask all of you to keep Greg and his family in your prayers. And I would ask right now if we could do a moment of silence in honor of Megan over this tragic death.

Linda Holmes (D)

PRESIDING OFFICER: (SENATOR HOLMES) Would Members please rise for a moment of silence. (Moment of silence observed) Will the Senate please come to order? Mr. Secretary, Committee Reports.
