PRESIDING OFFICER:(SENATOR HOLMES) Your introduction please.

Bill Cunningham (D)

Thank you. Ladies and Gentlemen of the Senate today is College Board Advanced Placement Day at the Capitol. And we are lucky enough to be joined by a group of students who are enrolled in AP courses around the State of Illinois. They wisely chose a day to come to Springfield when only the Senate is in Session, so they can see how things are done properly in this building. Among the schools represented here today are Proviso Math and Science Academy, (Gurdon S.) Hubbard High School, -- Lock, in Chicago -- Lockport High School, Pekin High School, Muchin High School in Chicago and Bond County High School. I had a chance earlier this morning to meet with them, as did Senator Halpin. It's a really great group of students. I'm happy they're going to be part of Illinois's future. Please help me welcome them to Springfield.
