That designated and elected members of the Committee on Committees of the Senate of the 86th General àssembly with the understandin: that the names would be provided by you, as the Minority Leader, and me as the Majority Leader. The rules clearly state and it couldn't be any clearer, Rule 7, page 5, ''such selection to be presented to the Senate for its approvalo'' NowF there has been no vote on it whatsoever, Mr. President, and I'm suggesting that we obey the rules and we have a vote on the Committee on Committees.
Well. the Committee on Committees Was subject to a vote by virtue of Senate Resolution No. which occurred On January the 11th, and was unanimously adopted. Is there further business come before the Senate? can't...you don't have a mike in that aisle.
Before we close, Mr. President, sort of a question of our appropriations chairman. Is it possible to...open a trade office in Moscow with funds that have never been appropriated without authorization from the Legislature? Perhaps we could get that clarified before State funds are appropriated or used ior that purposes when they have never received authorization or appropriation for it?
That question is rhetorical, assume, and probably a better inquiry can be made down on the second flcor. Further business to come before the Senate?
