I wanted to join Senator Collins in recognizing my colleague from the great west side and I was just a little slow getting to my button, but I would be remiss in my duties if I didn’t recognize Senator Earlean Collins for her great work 3 STATE OF ILLINOIS 93rd GENERAL ASSEMBLY REGULAR SESSION SENATE TRANSCRIPT 80th Legislative Day 2/18/2004 while she was here in the Senate and especially for the great work she’s done to save the line on taxes -- property taxes in Cook County quite recently. And her great work saved the people of Cook County the lease tax, which would have hurt business and film and everything else in the County of Cook within the State of Illinois. I wanted to recognize her for her staunch stand on that issue in Cook County.
