Madam President, pursuant to Rule -- Senate Rule 7-17, I move to suspend Senate Rule 3-11(e) so that the following Messages from the Governor and a Message from the Treasurer can be posted for a meeting of the Executive Appointments Committee on Friday, July 9th, 2004, 8:30 a.m.: Governor’s Message dated January 15th, March 5th, May 6th, June 1st, June 9th, June 24th and -- June 25th, excuse me, and two Messages of July 6, all of 2004; and the Treasurer’s Message dated May 24th, 2004.
PRESIDING OFFICER: (SENATOR HALVORSON) Senator Hendon moves to suspend the rules for the purposes stated. All those in favor, say Aye. Opposed -- Nay. The motion carries.
