That’s what I was asking. Thank you. This is -- this is a bill that had -- would -- would extend the sunset of the Pharmacy Practice Act to January 1, 2018, and change the name of the Pharmacy Practice Act of 1997 {sic} (1987) to the Pharmacy Practice Act. This was after long negotiation with the Illinois 3 STATE OF ILLINOIS 95th GENERAL ASSEMBLY REGULAR SESSION SENATE TRANSCRIPT 79th Legislative Day 8/1/2007 State Medical Society, PhRMA and others; that the pharmacy community have agreed on the amendments to the Senate Bill 509 and met the regulatory sunset of the Pharmacy Practice Act. This has taken extensive negotiations and work on this bill. This new Act authorizes centralization of prescription filling, whereby one pharmacy can fill or refill prescription; remote prescription processing; telepharmacy. It amends all agreements by all -- stakeholders. We believe it will bring new pharmacy into the new age while providing better access to pharmacies, medication to all Illinoisans. I would ask your positive support on this bill.

Thank you, Madam President. I would just like to say to the Body that this -- this bill was in Licensed Activities yesterday. Senator Link did not come to committee yesterday to present the bill. Senator Crotty presented it in his behalf. It flew out of committee, so I would recommend an Aye vote.
