Madam President, I move that the Journal just read by the Secretary be approved, unless some Senators has additions or corrections to offer.
PRESIDING OFFICER: (SENATOR HALVORSON) Senator Hunter moves to approve the Journals just read by the Secretary. There being no objection, so ordered. Could I please have your attention? I know it was pretty boring listening to me go through sixteen Special Sessions, but we are now in the regular Session and I would appreciate if we could have everybody’s attention. Senate President Emil Jones, for what purpose do you rise?
Thank you, Madam President. For a purpose of an announcement. It is the intent for us to come back in Session around 9:30, at which time - tomorrow morning, not this evening - at which time we will go to Rules Committee and set committee hearings either at 11 or 12 p.m., and after committees, come back to the Floor to deal with the votes that we have to take, the reason why we are here. And so I wanted to inform everyone that 1 STATE OF ILLINOIS 95th GENERAL ASSEMBLY REGULAR SESSION SENATE TRANSCRIPT 95th Legislative Day 9/17/2007 it was the intent to -- go to -- to committee today, but there was, after several meetings, many changes have to be made in the legislation. So therefore, now that we’ve gotten most of those things resolved, we’ll come back into Session tomorrow morning at 9:30. And perhaps, if everything goes well, we can have those committee hearings at 11 or 12 o’clock.

Thank you, Madam President. There will be a Senate Democratic Caucus immediately upon adjournment.
