The regular Session of the Senate is now in perfunctory Session. Communications. I have a letter dated November 14th, 2008. Dear Madam Secretary - Pursuant to Senate Rule 2-10, I am scheduling November 14th, 2008, as a perfunctory Session day. Sincerely, Emil Jones, Jr., Senate President. Messages. I have a Message dated November 12th, 2008. Mr. President - The Governor directs to -- directs me to lay before the Senate the following Message: To the Honorable Members of the Senate, 95th General Assembly - I’ve withdrawn the nomination of the following named person to the office enumerated below and respectfully ask acknowledgement of this withdrawal to be officially reflected in the record of your Honorable Body. Rod Blagojevich, Governor. A second Message, dated November 12th, 2008. Mr. President - The Governor directs me to lay before the Senate the following Message: To the Honorable Members of the Senate, 95th General Assembly - I’ve -- I’ve nominated and appointed the following named persons to the offices enumerated below and respectfully ask concurrence in and confirmation of these appointments of your Honorable Body.
