And Kelly's seventeen. She's homeschooled. And she's - interesting fact - she's the only one in -- the only sibling in the family that was born in the United States. She's got two sisters and a brother. She lived three years in Portugal. She is what they call in our area - what they call me at times - and that's a transient. If you're in the Air Force and you go from one place to another, a lot of people land in O'Fallon because of Scott Air Force Base, and she's one of those families. So we -- I'm glad she's here with us. And we appreciate the service her father's provided for our country. We welcome Kelly Scharven.

You know, we have -- we have a lot of staff on both sides of the aisle and many of those people are in and out in a hurry and sometimes we don't really get to know them. Then there are those that are here for a while and we get to know and we get to depend on. We have a -- a -- a young lady today who -- who's been here now -- now for fourteen years. She's served on -- on our budget staff. I think she's been outstanding. I -- I -- I call her a lot to find out what -- a lot of things that are going on, and many of us depend an awful lot on -- on -- on our staff. Leigh Volpert has been here, as I said, for fourteen years. She -- her husband is -- they have two daughters. And she is going -- and many times when they leave, they're going to really improve themselves. And -- and, you know, and that's great. All of us hate to see 'em leave, but we really do wish that -- and hope for that they have something better ahead of them. She will be going to work for the University of Illinois in Springfield. I've known her, as I said, back when she was just a -- a beginning staffer here on different elections. And I'd like and hope that you will give her a -- a warm goodbye. I know a lot of our staff is going to hate to see her leave. So, if you will, Leigh Volpert.
