Yes, thank you, Mr. President, Members of the Senate. This is a bill -- or resolution that we actually amended after working with the -- the -- number of organizations, the Railroad Association, the County Engineers, the Sheriffs, the Chiefs of Police, as -- and we got an amendment that we took from the Illinois Trucking Association. It just opposes an increase in current truck size and weight limits on all roads in the State of Illinois in order to ensure the safety of Illinois' drivers. The resolution also affirms opposition to remove or weaken the federal freeze on Longer Combination Vehicles contained in the Intermodal Surface Transportation Efficiency Act of 1991, which restricts the use of extra-long double and triple trailer trucks on Illinois highways. It's timely because the federal government is taking this up at this time. So I would ask for its adoption.
