"I would just like to say when, Jerry Weller asked me to do this, I was very excited. Anything after 65 that you get excited about is really something. Can you agree with that? And secondly to get you in the mood for prayer, and God has a sense of humor believe me, I was listening to the hearings about teenage pilferage and shoplifting and so forth and some of its Legislation, and I walked over to Baurs. We had a very delightful lunch, and I walked right straight out of the door, didn't pay the check, got down to the Cathedral, reached in my pocket, and there was the money and the check. At least somebody was listening, thank you. Oh, they didn't know if they should laugh or not, oh that's right. I hope you all have your green cards, because I came down here not to pray for you, although we do, but to pray with you, and as I say I hope you have your green cards here because its a very ecumenical prayer and we are going to even make it a little more ecumenical for our Jewish brothers and sisters, because we dropped the word Father, they will, and if you happen to be an agnostic or atheist just drop the whole first paragraph and join us with the rest, ok. Part of the reason that people have to stand up and waive posting requirements is that this place is disorganized. We've gone to subcommittees today. The subcommittees are meeting. They don't know if the Bills are supposed to come out of the subcommittees and go right to the full committees. There are postings that are supposed to go to the full committee but they don't. They go to the subcommittee, and then the Bill comes out and you can't get a Bill called in the full committee because it wasn't posted in the full committee because it was posted for the subcommittee, then people don't know whether they're supposed to come back to the full committees and testify in front of the full committees after they've already brought in people to testify in front of the subcommittees. I mean this place is a mess; this place is an absolute mess. If we're trying to run a business-like operation in this House and a committee structure, whoever was in charge of this business would have been fired."
