First of all, Mr. President, I want to congratulate you on the expeditious manner in which you blew through I think what is nine Special Sessions now. I want to make an inquiry of the Chair as to any thoughts you might have on what the schedule for the Illinois Senate might be today. All of us are watching with eager anticipation in the House of Representatives, hopeful that we -- that a balanced budget and meaningful economic and governmental reforms will finally, finally, finally come to fruition. Sometimes I -- I default to optimism, Mr. President. Yes, I would -- I actually have a special announcement today. I met -- I'd previously met a young girl - I'm going to call her a young lady - who is about to go to eighth grade. And if you could direct your attention up to Miss Lisa Yuscius, who runs our Bluestream {sic} feed, so she's the one who makes sure that all of our constituents know exactly what it is we're doing here in the interest of democracy. Well, her daughter, LexyAna Gustafson, is going to eighth grade, but let me tell you what's special about 5 STATE OF ILLINOIS 100th GENERAL ASSEMBLY REGULAR SESSION SENATE TRANSCRIPT 63rd Legislative Day 6/29/2017 this little girl. She does archery and she's so good at archery -- and I know you might not be able to tell that because she's so small, but -- Lexy, I want you to stand up so people can see who you are. She does archery. And I asked her, I said, "Do you do the electric? Do you do just the -- like, are you a Disney Channel character just yourself?" She said, "I shoot the compound." And she qualified for world this year. So this is one of our very own. She's going to eighth grade. And I'm telling you, there's nothing I love better than a little bad little girl, because she's about to be a bad woman. But we're so proud of you, Lexy, and congratulations on everything you did over this school year. Congratulations.
