Good afternoon, everybody. I wanted to introduce Abe Bauer. It'll be easy for you to remember his first name. Abe as in an Abraham. Abe Bauer is joining my group as strategy manager. He's from the area here. He majored at Illinois College in history, so he's got a lot of knowledge on the place but please join me in welcoming Abe Bauer to my group.

I would like to take a moment to honor a treasured member of the Illinois Senate Republican family. Our Senior Advisor, Rachel Bold, who will be leaving us to expand her career in the private sector. Rachel came to us as a standout ILSIP intern in 2010, and for the last fifteen years has dedicated her time and talent to helping bridge the gap between legislator, constituent and the press. She has served in many capacities in the Senate Republican Organization, from Communication Specialist to our Director of Communications, and most recently as my Senior Advisor the last three years. Her work extended outside the building where her strategic mind and tireless efforts were instrumental in the successful election and re-election of several Members of our caucus. Rachel led relevant, innovative, messaging campaigns that helped inform Illinoisans and remind us all what we do here matters. Whether in the Capitol or in the field, Rachel has been a steady, insightful, and dedicated teammate. I am sad to see her go but I am happy to be sending her off into such a bright future full of opportunity. Rachel, I know you're watching at home. I want to thank you for all you have done for me, for our caucus, and most importantly, for the Great State of Illinois. We are proud of you and wish you joy, fulfillment and success in all you do in your future endeavors.
