Senator Watson, for what purpose do you arise, sir?
Thank you: Mr. President. A point of personal prlvilege.
State your point, please.
Each year, as -- as you a1l know, ke have the annual House/senate softball game. And this year, it's going to be June 11th. And, as most of you probably know, former Senator and former House Member, Pete Miller, passed away this past week, and we he has always been our coaeh - had been up until his illness, and he was unable to participate. He actually started the game some -- in the l940s. He was the first guy to start the game, and its -- its raised literally thousands of dollars for the kids here in Sprinqfield. The money that's raised from this softball game goes to help projects here in Springfield. And so what wedve done is wedve named the game in his honor - in his memory. And it'll be June 11th. Next Weeky we dd like to have a -- a practice or two before the game. We'd like to make an honesk attempt to try to win one, and Win one for Pete. And Wedve got the material. We got the personnel. If we just :et together and work a little bit on I think we could put up a reasonable showing against the House. So next week bring your -- your itinerary with you -- and the -- your tennis shoes -- whatever, and we'll try to set up a eouple practices. Otherwise, June 11th. Sor hope you'll all be there, and help us financially with the game, too. Thank you.
