He has written sixty-three books for children, primarily biographies. His 1995 book on Casimir Pulaski, which many Senators have received , has been recognized by the National Junior Historian Guild. He has been cited by the United Nations and the Junior Literary Guild. David Collins was named Illinois Teacher of the Year by the Illinois VFW in 1988. Casimlr Pulaski, as David will tell you, was a role model. And incidentally, I might just add that David is fourteen years old, having been born on leap year 1940. They are in my dlstrict, so -- I'm clalming them and adcpting them. So I'm very proud of that. And we want to recognize Northwesternr and particularly the football team and the grand achievement that they gave to our State. We have so many stories that are not good news so often that we hear, and here is one of a Cinderella team that has done a wonderful job, that won the hearts of not only Northwestern Dniversity fans, but those hearts from all over the State, and we 're very proud of them. And we want to thank them for coming down here and we would like to honor then . So thank you very much, team.
