And coming down here todayy T thought of the long hours the General Assembly puts in. You're away from home. You miss your family, all the activities of the kids growing up. That's what I Went through; that's What youpre going through. And let me pass this on to you: and I say it With al1 *he sincerity in the world: When the pay commlssion report comes in: reject it unless the Members of the General Assembly are paid at least what Circuit Judges are pald, which is a hundred a slx thousand dollars. Dave Regner. I started serving this Body the same year Pate Philip did, but got smart in 1980 and didn't run again. Everybody's talking about how great these reunions are. Those of you that have been around awhile, if you remember, We used to have then every year when We had the German-hmerlcan Dinner. They used to fund them.

Mr. President, I want to remind the Members that We have a softball game coming up the 30th of April. The Regionat Commerce and Growth Association from St. Louis, each year, puts on the softball game. And I just Want to remind the Members that next week we're going to try to have a practice. I know a 1ot of them have been working out. You can tell by the weight they've lost and their getting into shape for the game, and so things are looking good for us once again. Bu* wedve got -- we're going to have to practice. And -- so next week we should remind the Members to brlng their equipment with then and -- and be expected to -- to practice.
