Thank you, my fellow Members. It is my pleasure to introduce a special guest who's here on behalf of the Illinois Cable Television Association. She's a movie star with incredible stories to tell, from Alfred Hitchcock to Charlie Chaplin. From drama to comedy to terror, she has really done it all. Alfred Hitchcock discovered this cover girl, Ms. Hedren, while viewing a commercial on NBC's "Today Show", and he immediately summoned her to Hollywood to take the leading role in his classic film ___ The Birds. _____ She earned a Golden Globe Award for her role in her first film, the Hitchcock classic, The _________ Birds. And he immediately then - Hitchcock did - put her in her next -- his next psychological thriller, Marnie, ______ opposite Sean Connery. Soon another Hollywood legend grabbed Ms. Hedren, a gentleman named Charlie Chaplin, who made her the star in what would be the last of his "Little Tramp" films. She's from the Midwest. She is a Scandinavian girl, Senator Syverson, from the State of Minnesota. She's been in over twenty major motion pictures, many television appearances and is a very active member of the Hollywood community. Ms. Hedren's later film credits took her to a different path. She has dedicated her life to big animals and large animals, and actually today that probably eclipses - her love of animals - probably, her love for the silver screen. Her life has led her to the conservation of big cats. Literally, big cats. Her work as the founder and president of The Roar Foundation extended to coproducing and starring in a film called ____ Roar, casting her daughter, the very famous Melanie Griffith, who is married to Antonio Banderas, as her daughter in this film, the ____ Roar.
