As I stated, this is agreed language by the Illinois Hospital Association and the Illinois Nurses Association, which only allows hospitals to require a nurse to work a maximum of four hours over their agreed shift in situations which are considered to be unforeseen circumstances. An -- unforeseen circumstance is defined by any national, State or municipal disaster or other catastrophic event or any implementation of a hospital disaster plan that would substantially affect or increase the need for health services. There’s also provisions in here for violations. Senate Bill 1815, as amended, creates a pilot program or permits the Department of Commerce to create a pilot program for lifelong learning accounts. I have described these colloquially as the equivalent of a 401k for education. Participating employers would be able to establish a program. Employees would be able to contribute up to five hundred dollars a year, which would be matched by the employer. These monies could be used for continuing education, be it going back to college or doing some job training in -- in manufacturing and other high tech area. It is a tax credit for the employer and a tax deduction for the employee. With the amendments, I’m not aware of any opposition and I ask for your Aye votes.
