Thank you, Mr. President, Members of the Senate. We adopted our rules earlier this year. And we adopted a new Rule 10-2, dealing with the appointment process. This resolution amends that rule in the following ways: Appointment Messages that were received in the 96th General Assembly can carry over into the 97th General Assembly. It allows appointing authorities to withdraw their Appointment Messages. Clarifies that the Senate receives an Appointment Message when it is read into the record, and it modifies the Appointment’s Message form to make it searchable on the General Assembly website. Be happy to answer any questions and would ask for a Aye vote.
