Okay, Ladies and Gentlemen, I'd like to take this opportunity to announce to the Senate that I have an honored special guest today joining us in my -- the gallery up behind me to the left. She's a member -- or constituent of the 10th Senate District, Bernadette Roche. She's the statewide President of the Illinois Association of Nurse Anesthetists and a constituent of mine. I'm going to have to -- Anesthetists. Yeah. I knew I was going to have problems with that. President Roche has been a certified registered nurse anesthetist for more than thirty years and is here today with an extraordinary contingency of more than sixty of their four hundred association members who took off time from their work -- from work to lobby today. So please join me in welcoming them. If you all can stand up and be recognized. And let's give 'em a warm Senate welcome.

Mr. President and Ladies and Gentlemen of the Senate, I want to introduce to you a young man who is an honorary Page for me today. He's going to shadow me throughout the building. His name is Alek Butkus, and he is a student at Lyons Township High School in DuPage County. He placed first over eight hundred fellow high school students two months ago in the debate occurring in Chicago in the Model United Nations. An extremely bright, accomplished young man, and he wants to become an actuary, an insurance actuary, 4 STATE OF ILLINOIS 98th GENERAL ASSEMBLY REGULAR SESSION SENATE TRANSCRIPT 88th Legislative Day 2/25/2014 one of the most stimulating, exciting jobs we could create in the insurance industry. But, first of all, I would like to say feliz cumpleaños to Iris Martinez - this is her annual fiftieth birthday, I believe - as well as Tony Muñoz has a birthday. Do - - it was last week. We missed it on the Floor. And I heard that Napoleon Harris has a birthday also today. So I wish all of us to wish them a happy birthday.
