They are the children of Shaure Bolles and the grandchildren of Bill and Sara Wills from my district, who are accompanying them here today. They have the privilege of being homeschooled by their parent and they both are very involved in piano lessons, golf lessons, as well as -- as well as other activities. They wish -- one wishes to be an architect and the other one wishes to be in an orchestra and an orthopedic surgeon. So maybe they can take care of people like Senator Murphy when they get hurt at the softball game in the House/Senate. But if the Chamber would please join me in welcoming them, I would certainly appreciate it.

On Thursday, we are going to 5 STATE OF ILLINOIS 98th GENERAL ASSEMBLY REGULAR SESSION SENATE TRANSCRIPT 113th Legislative Day 4/29/2014 celebrate the Police Memorial, as we normally do about this time of the year here in Springfield. However, I -- I've been asked to make an announcement, and that is that on May 1st, on that Thursday, at 11 a.m., due to construction at the Police Memorial, the memorial service will be held on the east steps - that is the east steps of the Capitol. In case of bad weather, it will be held in the State Library. Also, too, Mr. President - and you may want me to announce that a little bit later with more -- more folks - I have with me here on the Floor my District Director, Rich Jacobs. He is that person that we all have, perhaps, back in our districts that for whom no mountain is high enough, no valley is low, and I don't mean that he does that on behalf of the Senator; he does that on behalf of our constituents back home. And they broke the mold when they sent me this guy to be my District Director. I can't say enough good things about him, but for the sake of brevity, I will just ask the Senate to provide him a very warm Senate welcome. Thank you.

First, I'd like to introduce ECDEC early childhood program, which enrolls nearly twelve hundred at-risk children from birth to age five living in the northwest suburbs. Could you please stand up? Secondly, we also have parents, staff, and advocates from the early childhood program at Schaumburg School District 54, which provides early childhood services to over seven hundred and fifty students and their families, ages birth to five.
