"Mr. Speaker, Ladies and Gentlemen of the House. It is indeed's a pleasure for me to have as guests in the House with us this evening. The Johnson City Math Team and their coach, Ron Nagrodski. I think each and every time that we have success, we're always proud. Athletics are very important to our high schools throughout the state. But academia is what it's all about, and what we have before you today is the number one math team in the State of Illinois. These ladies and gentlemen have not accomplished this because of their wisdom, they've not accomplished this because of their genius, but they've accomplished this because of a commitment. The commitment that they have made is not only through their abilities but through their efforts. These ladies and gentlemen that you see before you have gotten up early in the morning every day before school, they have stayed late at night to work and to polish their skills. Along with their coach, they have succeeded in the area that we consider one of the most important in this state. That being the area of math. We congratulate them, I would introduce Ron, their coach to introduce each and every member of the first team. The team from Johnson City."
