Thank you, Mr. President. Today, we recognize the 50th annual Illinois Agriculture Legislative Day. I have two related announcements. First, tomorrow at the Sangamo Club, at 8:15, there'll be an Illinois Agribusiness Breakfast and Legislative Update. Breakfast at 8:15, followed by discussion of stakeholders. Again, at Sangamo Club tomorrow at 8:15. And just as important, for decades, the FFA, the Future Farmers of America, has been fundamental to agricultural education in Illinois and across the country. Their primary activities center on agriculture education, including scholarships, leadership, and personal development. Mr. President, I'm very honored today to be joined by two special guests. UIC recently merged with John Marshall Law School in the City of Chicago, in which I think is the best law school in the entire State of Illinois. John Marshall produces some of the -- the most judges from any law school in the entire State and also trains young law students to be successful attorneys when they go into practice. So, today, I'm very honored to be joined by the Dean of the University of Illinois at Chicago John Marshall Law School, Dean Darby Dickerson. And I also am joined by Professor Megan Bess, who -- who coordinates the externship program at the law school. They're here today on a fact-finding mission. And you know how it is when lawyers go look for facts, there's generally an outcome and I'm looking forward to what they have to offer for the General Assembly. Mr. President, if we could, offer them a warm Springfield welcome. Thank you, Mr. President, for the time.

If I could have everyone's attention, I'd like to introduce a -- a group of incredible people that hopefully none of you will ever have to meet on a professional basis, but you'll be happy to know that they are there to protect you and your families and those across the whole State, and that is we have with us members of the Illinois Association of Air and Critical Care Transport groups. And they're in the President's Gallery here. If you could all wave. These are flight nurses and -- and doctors and staff that man those -- both land and rotor-wing as well as fixed-wing transportation for patients across the State. They play a vital role for not only transporting patients from -- from rural hospitals to specialty hospitals, but they're there when there's critical accidents, where time is of -- of urgency. And so we appreciate their service throughout the State and their willingness to come down here to Springfield today and meet with their legislators.
