Thank you. Today I rise for a point of personal privilege. Come on this side so they can see you, to welcome a member of my team to the Floor, and please meet Dana Smith. Dana is a part-time legislative aide for me in the district, and she focuses on our traveling office hours. So far, she's been in Piatt County, Dewitt and Macon Counties, and will be going to McLean and Tazewell Counties soon. Dana grew up in Maroa, Illinois, which is in our 3 STATE OF ILLINOIS 103rd GENERAL ASSEMBLY REGULAR SESSION SENATE TRANSCRIPT 92nd Legislative Day 3/20/2024 District, and she comes from a military family, and she currently resides in Clinton with her husband. And she worked at Dewitt County for just short of 30 years, but she's my fellow clerk, she was County Clerk, in Dewitt County for 12 years. Dana is a member of the Auxiliary Legion, a member of Dove, and a member of Triad, and she volunteers at our local food pantry and participates in numerous outreach programs in our community. Dewitt County Triad was developed to protect our seniors from scam frauds and to improve the quality of life. Please welcome Dana Smith to the Senate. Thank you.
