I filed a Motion in Writing, and the Motion is to suspend senate Rules - Rule 50 to extend the reporting deadline from the Senate Energy and Environment Committee till October 24z 1991 for three bills Senate Bills 870, 1176 and 1400. These bills are going to be left in thq Senate Enerqy and Environment Committee, and hearings will be held during the summer. These are going to form the basis for the telecommunications rewrite. Because of the crush of business upon us and all of the controversial issues this spring, we do not have enough time to thoroughly review the Telecommunication Act, and therefore, I would ask that this deadline be extended.
