And what this proposal will do is it will add the criminal offense of money laundering to the list of offenses that can be joined in one count of an indictment, rather than having to require each transaction be separately prosecuted. Basically, this is going to make it easier to prosecute the offense of money laundering, especially for significant -- or significant cases, which can involve hundreds or thousands of transactions. So, this is a constituent-driven bill that -- someone was trying to get a discount by impersonating a veteran or any member of Reserve Forces. So if someone comes in to get a Slurpee and they say they are a solider, they are encouraging this ethic of service in the face of danger, right? So why would we care? They're encouraging people. If they're doing a personation of a veteran, they've raised us to high esteem, even though they went to West Point.

Senator, as a veteran myself, as a Navy veteran - I served as a petty officer - I was just wondering if there was some particular reason why -- and it was Senator Cullerton, Tom Cullerton, who brought this to my attention - as to why maybe petty officers are not provided special consideration under this bill regarding discounts for Slurpees.
